Weare delighted to announce that Ricardo Silva has joined the q-leap team as Test Manager!
With over five years’ experience in software testing, Ricardo has worked in the telecoms field from day one. An experienced test manager and end-to-end test engineer (E2E), Ricardo is able to competently carry out performance and system integration tests, as well as user acceptance and automation tests.
His experience of test management in the telecoms sector enables him to lead test projects from the initial phases right through to the final test activities. Ricardo’s previous work environments were internationally collaborative and constantly evolving, where he learned to adapt to both teamwork and individual skills, and included Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Asked what excites you about testing, Ricardo replies:
“The mindset of an engineer or test manager is a gift that isn’t always present in other departments, due to our questioning nature. My passion comes from my ability to think differently from others, to communicate those differences and to make everyone understand that the end goal is common to all, even if the mindset is different. After all, we’re all aiming for a better product, a better process, a better self.”
