WHAT IS THE TEST MATURITY INTEGRATION MODEL (TMMI)?

The TMMi model provides a comprehensive framework to be used as an evaluation/reference model when improving test processes, involving management sponsorship. It establishes a specific, technically competent test process group, representing relevant stakeholders, to improve test process guidance and prioritization efforts. The model addresses the four pillars of structured testing (lifecycle, technical, infrastructure and organization) and is based on risk management.

WHY IS TMMI A NECESSARY MODEL?

TMMi focuses on helping organizations make the transition from defect detection to defect prevention, with a positive impact on the time, cost and quality of delivered software. The aim is to ensure that practices are adapted and appropriate, strengthening weaker areas and filling gaps to achieve corporate objectives. By improving testing with TMMi, companies become more mature and efficient.
