To support Q-Leap's growth, we are looking for a Test Automation Expert (M/F)
As a test automation expert with in-depth experience of various test automation tools and technologies, you will be the main reference for test automation projects.
Your missions:
- Participate in on-site customer projects.
- Act as Q-Leap’s subject matter expert.
- Help redefine test automation services.
- Act as test automation expert on customer projects.
- Advise on test automation strategies, tools and methodologies.
- Develop, enhance and run automated test scripts.
- Identify automation opportunities in manual test scenarios to improve efficiency and speed.
- Discover and suggest innovative ideas in the field of test automation.
- Recommend test automation tools and frameworks.
- Contribute to updating the test automation service offering.
- Keep abreast of industry news and maintain expertise in test automation practices.
You can also take part in our training activities by helping our team create course materials and/or acting as a trainer.
Your journey
- You have 3 years’ higher education or a Master’s degree in IT.
- You have 7 years’ experience in testing, including at least 4 in test automation.
- You are familiar with test automation concepts and methodologies.
- You have proven experience with these tools:
- Automation tools/frameworks: Robot Framework, Appium, Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Jenkins, GitLab, JMeter, Ranorex, Tricentis, etc.
- API testing tools: SoapUI, Postman, etc.
- You have a particular affinity for teaching, especially in the context of lifelong learning.
- You have a sound knowledge of the test automation market and emerging trends.
- You have the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for different levels of understanding.
- You are fluent in English and French. French is compulsory. It will be considered an asset if French is the candidate’s mother tongue.
- You are ISTQB certified.
