Conducted in 2016, the survey covers several topics, including information on motivation for ISTQB\u00ae certification, program relevance, training impact and what should be included in the future roadmap.<\/p>\n<p>This useful information is relevant to anyone working in the testing field, as well as providing valuable direction for the further evolution of the ISTQB\u00ae scheme.<\/p>\n<p>The main conclusions of the survey are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The geographic distribution of respondents is fairly well balanced.<\/li>\n<li>The results of the 2016 survey confirm the findings of the 2013 survey: a very positive assessment of the ISTQB\u00ae certification scheme.<\/li>\n<li>Employee career development is the main motivation for managers to get their employees ISTQB\u00ae CTFL certified. This was already the main motivation in 2013; in 2016, we saw a significant increase in its preference, from almost 40% to almost 80%.<\/li>\n<li>The survey results suggest that career development is an important topic that can be supported by the ISTQB\u00ae certification scheme.<\/li>\n<li>The study confirms that the certification exam is a very good reflection of candidates&#8217; knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>There is a high and growing interest in ISTQB\u00ae advanced certification.
