His main task will be to strengthen the company&#8217;s training department, which has acquired expertise in software quality.<br><br>Over the past few years, q-leap has built up a solid portfolio of training courses that reflect the issues involved in software quality in development projects. Today, the consulting firm plans to raise the profile of this unique service in Luxembourg. To this end, q-leap has recruited Isabelle From, who has been their Training Sales Manager and Account Manager since last spring. &#8221;  <em>As well as being in contact with customers, I&#8217;m also responsible for running the company&#8217;s new training department. We have developed an offer directly linked to q-leap&#8217;s unique expertise in software quality,&#8221; she explains. All our services &#8211; testing, business analysis, project management, architecture, training &#8211; have similar objectives: to disseminate best practices and improve the quality of software development in Luxembourg.<\/em>  &#8220;<br><br><strong>CERTIFIED TESTING TRAINING<\/strong><br><br>The company has acquired unique expertise through its testing activities. q-leap&#8217;s training department is a partner of the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB), an industry benchmark. We offer all the classes proposed by the ISTQB,&#8221; explains Isabelle From. These are certified training courses on the various testing functions.&#8221; Alongside the fundamentals, which are explored in a three-day course available in French and English, other more advanced training sessions focus on test automation or security-related testing. The specific training dedicated to testing in the context of agile development is also a great success. &#8220;It is therefore possible to acquire basic skills, but also to deepen one&#8217;s knowledge of specific issues. With the ISTQB, we give testers the opportunity to evolve, to explore new areas in order to guarantee higher quality developments&#8221;, she says. q-leap is also qualified to organize online exams directly from its offices, in collaboration with the GASQ certification body.<br><br><strong>QUALITY TRAINING BEYOND TESTING<\/strong><br><br>The q-leap training portfolio also includes business analysis, project management and user experience engineering for a better user experience. Improving the quality of software products is a key objective for business leaders,&#8221; explains Isabelle From. Development project teams are strengthened, integrating new key skills.
