We were delighted to welcome Mr Xavier Bettel yesterday! The Prime Minister of Luxembourg visited our premises to learn more about our team and the success of q-leap!
Hubert Schumacher, founder of q-leap, and Sylvain Perez, CEO of q-leap, received the Minister of Communications and Media and presented the company’s history. “Mr. Xavier Bettel’s visit is a valuable meeting for q-leap and allows us to highlight our employees who create value and contribute to the digitization of the country on a daily basis,” assures Sylvain Perez.
Test automation expert Jorge Asensio demonstrated our mobile test automation framework, designed for testing digital applications, and explained the importance of efficiency in testing. “It’s very exciting to hear how an application works and how specialists can solve problems,” said our Prime Minister. “Luxembourg must not miss the digital train“. “It was an honor to present some of our digital testing solutions to the Prime Minister of Luxembourg. But testing is not an end in itself. Software quality needs to be addressed right from the start of any software development cycle. This also applies to digital applications. We’re here to make sure that happens, so that Luxembourg gets on the right track towards digitization.“said Julien Desmulier, head of testing and quality assurance.
Xavier Bettel declared that quality and security are crucial in the development of new software, applications and websites. The digital age is already here, and software quality practices need to keep pace with this trend. Ranked 5th in DESI 2017, the Digital Economy and Society Index, the Grand Duchy is one of Europe’s leading countries in terms of connectivity, digital performance and Internet usage.
“I would like to thank the Prime Minister for his visit. It’s a very good signal for q-leap, entrepreneurship and digital in Luxembourg, to meet important players in the field of new technologies in the Grand Duchy.“said Hubert Schumacher.
The whole q-leap team would like to thank Xavier Bettel once again for his visit!
