To support Q-Leap's growth, we are looking for a Test Manager
Joining our team as a Test Manager, you will be involved in testing and quality assurance activities as part of our customers’ consultancy assignments, on various digital innovation projects.
Your mission (... if you accept) :
- Manage the test team and interface with the client’s business units.
- Advise on quality management around testing tools and methods.
- Conduct and manage risk assessments.
- Define and implement test strategies, taking account of deadlines, risks, budget, etc.
- Write test reports and draw up schedules.
- Analyze and design test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
- Set up automated tools for performance and non-regression testing.
- Identify when test automation is appropriate, plan development and help choose the right tools.
- Run test scenarios.
- Monitor testing activities from development to production delivery.
- Actively participate in monitoring the status of deliverables and activities to the project management team.
- Coordinate teams and communicate with the various business lines and IT.
- Maintain a technology watch on test tools and promote innovation.
In addition to these activities, and depending on your motivation and specialization, you may be asked to work on test automation and performance projects, using the various tools available on the market (HP UFT, Selenium, HP Loadrunner, etc.).
You can also take part in our training activities by helping our team create course materials and/or acting as a trainer.
Your journey
- You have at least 3 years’ higher education, a Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- You have at least 3 years’ experience as a Test Manager.
- You are ISTQB certified.
- You’re detail-oriented and quality-conscious.
- You have good oral and written communication skills (at least English and French).
- You can work as part of a team or independently.
- You have technical expertise in implementing test methodology and tools.
- You have +/- 5 years’ experience in developing test plans, test scenarios, executing test scenarios and documenting test results.
- You have +/- 2 years’ experience in developing test strategy for large-scale programs and in traceability of requirements throughout the development cycle.
Your personality
- You are customer and results-oriented.
- You have a particular affinity for teaching, especially in the context of lifelong learning.
- You have the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for different levels of understanding.
- You are fluent in English and French. French is mandatory. It will be considered a plus if French is the candidate’s mother tongue.
